Company History
Founded in 2023 by brothers Chris and Nico, Rxvise is a new venture driven by a shared passion for pharmacy education. The idea for the business was born out of frustration during Chris' foundation training year in 2021 when he encountered a lack of affordable and comprehensible resources to support his learning for the registration exam. Determined to solve this problem, extensive planning took place over 2022-23, leading to the realisation of our vision and the establishment of Rxvise.
As a family business with a deep understanding of the industry, we are committed to providing accessible and high-quality educational materials to support aspiring and current pharmacists on their professional journey.
Chris
Chris is a registered pharmacist with multisector experience, having previously worked as a Pharmacist Manager in community, a Production Pharmacist in a Regional Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit, and currently as a Rotational Pharmacist in hospital. He completed his Pharmacy degree at Queen's University Belfast, graduating in 2021 and undertook his Foundation Training Year in England with Day Lewis Pharmacies and Glaxo SmithKline, and eventually registering with the GPhC.
With his extensive knowledge and experience in the field of pharmacy, Chris is responsible for the delivery and management of the educational content presented in Rxvise.
Nico
Nico is currently a Computer Science student at Queen's University Belfast. He previously studied Pharmacy for three years at the same university prior to moving to his current course. His innovative mindset and strong development skills is instrumental in bringing our company's vision to life.
He is responsible for the full-stack development of our project and his knowledge and experience in both fields brings a unique skillmix to the table, allowing him to understand the needs and challenges faced by aspiring pharmacists and subsequently provide solutions which we can implement into the project.
